As the name suggests, Kaani is the story of the viewer and the life, politics and drama  which encompass him. Kaani revolves around Venu, head of a family who is a drama enthusiast. Kaani is  a portrayal of how plays chip in to evolve changes in the life of Venu. The drama develops into an introspection of political issues raised by people who are mere spectators than responsive citizens.
